This project was all about creating a tranquil and stylish home for a busy family. With some careful planning and thoughtful design choices, we used a fairly neutral colour palette with some hot pops of bright colours to brighten and enliven the spaces. using accent pieces like pillows, rugs, and art.
Incorporating natural materials such as wood, exposed brick and plants we created a sense of style but paired with an intensely homely and tranquil feel. The bathrooms and all additional build elements were installed with warmth and originality, choosing comfortable and functional furniture we considered durability and also stain resistance when selecting fabrics and other soft furnishings. Front of mind was also to create ample storage and shelving to keep clutter at bay.
In this busy family home, it was important to have dedicated spaces for work, play and also socialising. Soft and natural lighting has a big impact on the mood of a room. We used floor lamps, table lamps and dimmer switches, to provide a calming and relaxing atmosphere.
We've created a calm, happy and stylish home for this family that is both functional and beautiful for them to entertain, live, relax and recharge.
